On the first day of Christmas...

Christmas is just around the corner! We put up our Christmas tree, put up decorations and even did gingerbread houses with Erickson's and Grandpa and Grandma. It was also the first time I got to see Jessica in months! Wow. I love Christmas, i even blast the Christmas music all the time just to get in the spirit... THERE IS STILL SO MUCH SHOPPING TO BE DONE!!!

Jakarta, Indonesia

So I got my mission call to Jakarta Indonesia! Indonesian speaking! How insane! I got it on Nov. 27, 2008! I went to the post office and there it was! I about died and ran to my car as fast as my legs would move.. the whole town knew probably in a matter of minutes... it was not until about 5 hours later i was able to open it... But when I did, surrounded by family, it was an amazing experience and I know that is where the Lord wants me to be :) So as of Christmas day
I only have 2 months exactly to live my cold life in Canada!!!!!! Insane

Utah Roadtrip!

So during American Thanksgiving some of my friends came up from school and we all had a good weekend hanging out. At one point a bunch of people just ditched out on Rope, Carly, Cronk, Morgan and Myself. We all went to Boston Pizza and randomly decided we were going to go to Utah! We checked our schedules and decided to do it 5 days later! What were we thinking? I thought it might fall through because that is basically how every "roadtrip" ever planned has ended up. But it happened! We left Raymond around 4:30 am Friday Dec. 5. It was a blast. We stayed at Randy and Angie Zollinger's house. They were so awesome to have me and all my rowdy friends over! They rock. The trip down was... eventfull. long. never ending. but we got there. here a few of the things we did:
1. went to a Utah Jazz/ Toronto Raptors game in Salt Lake
2. toured Temple Squa
re, Saw the Joseph Smith movie, toured some more
3. met up with Morgan Sie
ben
4. found an outdoor skating rink, and skated for only $8! (including skates)
5. carriage ride around Temple Square
6. went to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional @ the Conference Center
7. shopped
8. byu campus, hotsprings, and MTC!

It was an all around random trip, but so much fun. Expensive at
times... but still I'd do it again in a heart beat!
